Jordan is a native of Zimbabwe interested in the healthcare space and passionate about development back home. He grew up in Harare and went to school there for most of his life. From a young age he was always attracted by the intersection of science and social progress. His grandmother and father set incredible examples for compassion and charity, getting him involved with volunteer work and nurturing his political conscience. He left Zimbabwe to study his undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a Secondary degree in Economics from Harvard University. He has worked with Educational startups, political news organizations and co-founded an agri-tech business in Lesotho. He is currently working on research to develop low cost-diagnostic medicine devices to carry out blood tests in developing world contexts. After graduating, he plans on continuing his studies at Cambridge University where he will study a Masters degree in chemical engineering and biotechnology. After that he plans to go to medical school and continue his pursuit for innovative healthcare solutions. His long term mission is to make sure no Zimbabwean ever goes through life without access to adequate healthcare or medical attention.
